The Simplicité platform minor version 5.2 will be made available on the version 5 template’s Git repository release[-light] branches and as the Docker images tagged 5.2[-light] on Friday April 22th 2022.
All 5.1 instances deployed on the SIM servers and marked as auto-upgraded will be automatically upgraded to 5.2 during the Friday April 22th 2022 night
Note If you are using a SIM server and want to temporarily remain on the previous 5.1 minor version you MUST remove the auto-upgraded flag on the considered instances
The release Docker images tagged 5-latest[-light], 5[-light] and latest[-light] will switch to this new minor version 5.2 on Friday April 29th 2022
Note If you are using Docker images and want to temporarily remain on the previous minor version 5.1 you MUST now use the
5.1[-light]tags instead of the above tags
The minor version 5.1 will be maintained for critical fixes only till June 30th 2022 (see this document for more details on our short term maintenance strategy for minor versions)
Check the the release note for details on the new minor version 5.2.
Note that this minor version 5.2 includes some minor compatibility-breaking changes vs version 5.1, make sure you have reviewed them.
Also note that, as for any new minor version, it is not possible to revert an upgraded instance to minor version 5.2 back to version 5.1
