The Simplicité platform version 5.2.0 RELEASE CANDIDATE is available on the version 5 template’s prerelease[-light] branches an/or as the 5-beta[-light] Docker images
Please start preparing yourself for this future minor release by reading the the draft release note.
Note that it includes some new features, some deprecated Java APIs, some upgraded third party components and some compatibility-breaking changes (especially on features that were still experimental in previous versions).
Keep in mind that downgrading from 5.2.0-beta to any 5.1.x is not possible. Therefore you should not upgrade any actual dev, test or production instance at that stage, but rather only test it on ephemereal instances.
At that stage the platform can also be still have some issues, so any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
If no blocking issue is raised, this RELEASE CANDIDATE will be released by the end of February 2022. After this release no further maintenance will be done on previous 5.1 minor version.
